Our digital health platform lets patients find nearby healthcare providers, book appointments online, see wait times from the comfort of their homes, and avoid long waits with our virtual waiting room. Healthcare providers benefit from our platform, because we help them deliver care more efficiently.

We are looking to fill a senior software engineering role to lead a high-impact project that involves building and launching a new service for our digital health platform. If you think you’re a good fit, we’d love to hear from you!



Responsibilities

You will collaborate with the company's President & development team to see through the development of new services. Some of your specific tasks may include:

  • Contributing to strategic and tactical product planning

  • Contributing to product development, system architecture, design, testing and deployment

  • Delivering a high-quality, stable application that fills unmet healthcare needs



Qualifications

  • Strong familiarity with Health IT platforms (EMRs, EHRs, PMSs)

  • Extensive knowledge of interoperability and integration of healthcare systems

  • Passion for working within an agile technology company

  • Strong hands-on technical skills, and can contribute to coding and architecture

  • Experience leading technical projects and facilitating technological decision making

  • Experience anticipating technical issues & making architectural/design decisions to avoid them

  • Strong communication skills

  • Interest in healthcare & improving access to care



Bonus

  • Experience implementing and supporting HL7 FHIR/CDA interfaces

  • Experience with Ruby on Rails

  • Experience building interactive web applications

  • Experience managing a team and mentoring junior developers
